Sopore : Residents of Krankshivan Colony in Sopore have urged the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department to carry out repair of the dilapidated road stretch at Mohalla Alamdar.
They told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) alleged that the road stretch from Krankshivan Colony Culvert-Alamdar Colony has been ignored by the concerned authorities.
The road is dotted with huge potholes and has not been repaired since long and the authorities concerned are least bothered about the sufferings of people, they said.
The locals said they brought the issue into the notice of the R&B department to no avail.
Imtiyaz Ahmed, a local, said it becomes difficult to commute on the road during rains.
Residents appealed to the higher authorities to take note of their grievances.
