Pencak Silat Association of J&K selected and finalize the Senior Men & Women teams for Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22 from 11th to 14 March 2022 at GHG Khalsa Collage- Ludhiana-Punjab.
Srinagar:- Jammu & Kashmir Sports council conducts the screening of the J&K Pencak Silat Teams for the onward participation of Men & Women probable’s in the Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22, which is scheduled to be held at GHG Khalsa Collage, Gurusar, Ludhiana Punjab, which shall start from 11th to 14th March 2022. The screening committee of the J&K Sports council led by Mrs Nuzhat Ara , Divisional Sports officer, Kashmir, Mrs Nusrat Gazala, Central Sports officer, & Mr. Maqsood Khan, member sports screening committee today cleared the J&K teams for the said championship , The J&K UT teams was undergone through the 21 days Coaching camp at Indoor hall, Polo ground Srinagar under the supervision of Mohammad Iqbal, Coach , J&K Sports Council. Prior to the national participation, the 21 days coaching camp was sponsored by J&K Sports council, where latest and advance skills were imparted among the participants, & I am fully satisfied with the hardwork and dediciation of the campers during this 21 days coaching camp and I am confident that we will get maximum medals at this event and hopefully will retain our overall champions place this year too. said coach Iqbal,
The camp and screening process was also supervised by Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Ms Nuzhat Gul, who was quite satisfactory interaction with campers, she also convey her good wishes to the particpants for their participation in the forthcoming senior nationals at Ludhiana

The Senior National Pencak silat championship 2021-22 will be followed by the 5th Edition of Federation Cup 2021-22, which will be held at Lovely Professional University will be scheduled from 26-28th March 2022, In addition, both the national level championships will be the platform for the senior teams to qualify for the forthcoming back to back South Asian Pencak Silat Championship ( Kathmandu-Nepal ), Asian Pencak Silat Championship ( Tashkent-Uzbekistan ) & 19th World Pencak Silat Championship 2022 ( Kuala Lampur- Malayasia ) & 6th Asian Indoor & martial Art games –( Chonbri-Thailand ) later this year,
The Championship is organised by Chandigarh Pencak Silat Championship under the aegis of Indian Pencak Silat Championship, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India & Sports authority of India & the J&K Men & Women teams is sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports council.
