Ganderbal: A 17-year-old girl died by suicide after consuming poisonous substance at her home in Ganiwan Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the girl (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was immediately rushed to nearby hospital wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition where she succumbed.”
The official said that “it was not immediately known as to why she took this extreme step”.—(KNO)
